Dedicated to Newington, Rocky Hill, and Wethersfield (PD-07).
I bring new leadership and a promise to ensure the probate court remains welcoming for every local family.
My Vision
I am committed to transforming our probate system through a vision of modernization and empathy. My goal is to foster a supportive environment rooted in transparency, ease of access, and genuine care. Every family in our district deserves a local system that is welcoming. My time as Staff Attorney for one of the state’s busiest probate courts has provided me with a deep understanding of the system's strengths and the critical areas where we must improve.
1) I will launch regular community outreach initiatives to provide seniors and families with a clear, comprehensive roadmap of the probate process.
2) I will prioritize staff training to ensure every visitor receives patient, helpful guidance. We will move past bureaucratic hurdles to ensure your questions are met with clarity and respect.
3) I will return all children’s cases to our district. By keeping these sensitive matters within our community, we ensure families have the convenient access they need.

Staff will be trained to ensure every visitor to the court receives patient and helpful guidance.

My priority is to return children’s matters to our district. Currently, cases are redirected to the regional court in East Hartford. Local families deserve the convenience of resolving these sensitive issues within their own community.
Common Questions
What is probate court?
Think of probate court as the people's court. We can go our whole lives without ever encountering criminal or superior court, but almost everyone will rely on the probate process at some point in their lives.
What does a probate judge do?
Probate judges are attorneys who preside over a variety of matters including conservatorships, children's matters, name changes, intellectual disability, trusts & estates.
What is PD-07?
Connecticut is divided into 54 probate districts and six regional children's courts. Probate District 07 (PD-07) serves the towns of Newington, Rocky Hill and Wethersfield. The court is located in Newington. The court currently participates in the regional children's court and transfer their children's matters to the regional court in East Hartford.
What political party are you?
I am a lifelong Republican. I am endorsed by the Republican Party and am a member of the Wethersfield Republican Town Committee.
Why are politics involved?
Probate judges are elected. Superior court judges are appointed. That's the way we do it in Connecticut. While this is a political process, the role of a judge is to follow the law and treat everyone equally.
When is the election?
November 3, 2026. The election will determine who serves as probate judge for the next four year term beginning January 2027.
